Billy Kennedy leads the New Community network leadership team.
He has been in Southampton since 1982. He was born in Liverpool, went to primary school in Scotland, secondary school in Northern Ireland and started his working life back in Glasgow.
Billy is involved with most areas of church life offering support and advice to those who have the responsibility to run those areas.
Beyond Southampton Billy serves as a friend and advisor to a variety of churches and Christian organisations. He is a member of the International Council of the
24-7prayer movement and leads the Pioneer network.
Billy married Caroline, who became a Christian at Community Church, in 1984 and they have three children. David, Erin and Daniel. He plays golf regularly, holds a season ticket for Southampton Football Club, enjoys cooking and entertaining and would like to try his hand at a whole host of other things but time, money and energy always seem to work against him!
